This 2014, the MFL will take place at a new venue, Limerick Bowl. The league will play from 5:30 pm for a total of 11 consecutive Sundays, starting on September 7 and with Finals slated on November 16. Our Kickoff Night on September 7 starts promptly at 5 pm, with Team Captains of the 14 teams drawing lots for their team names and numbers based on this year's theme of Philippine Fruits (it was Filipino food last year).

A few notes prior to Kickoff:
- Practice games at Limerick Bowl are already available to MFL participants at special rate of $2 per game. Just indicate that you are with the Filipino league (MFL) playing on Sunday afternoons.
- If you need to bowl in advance of a scheduled absence (prebowl), please let your League Managers know (Jing cell 484-802-4283, email jing.capucao@gmail.com). You will need to call Limerick Bowl at 610-495-7143 to schedule your prebowl and determine lane availability. Limerick Bowl will collect your $15 bowling fee before you prebowl. Please indicate that you are with the Philly Pinoy Mixed Fall League (MFL) playing on Sundays.
On related news, a total of 47 Philly Pinoy members, friends and interested folks had a chance to try bowling at Limerick Bowl at a fantabulous free Open Bowl event held for us on August 3. Based on the prospective participants when signoffs were closed on August 8, team announcements were conducted at the Philly Pinoy Volleyball Event at Wilson Farm Park on August 9. Please note that there have been some minor changes to the team lineups in the weeks leading to our Kickoff: we ensured that the impacted players were notified beforehand of these changes.
We will be uploading the League Rules prior to Kickoff Night. Just a few more sleeps (ilang tulog nalang!) before the fun begins! Till then, bowl, baby, bowl! We'll see you at the lanes!
