It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the sudden passing of Michael Nicolas this past week. Michael graced our 2015 Philly Pinoy Mixed Fall League as a member of Team Singkamas. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family at this difficult time.
Visitation shall be held on Friday night, October 16 at 6-9 PM at Donohue Funeral Home in Wayne, PA. There will be visitation services at Sts Philip and James Roman Catholic Church on Saturday morning, October 17 at 9:30-10:50 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. This Sunday, October 18, the Philly Pinoy Mixed Fall League shall hold a moment of silence in Michael's honor prior to the scheduled Week 6 matches, to pray as a community for the eternal repose of his soul. Philly Pinoy shall take up a collection, in lieu of the 50/50 Lucky Ticket raffles. Michael's vacant score shall be maintained this week in loving memory.
Quiet lad with a big, bright smile,
He was with us just a little while
To play... but too soon did he leave...
With sorrow so profound we grieve
And pray for his sweet and gentle soul:
Never again with us to bowl.
