11/01 Instant Poetry + QUIZ Time Returns!

Here is an instant poem for you, my dear MFL Leaguers, in honor of our last night in regulation play. 

We have been battling for eight nights

Witnessed some real exciting fights

We have earned our bragging rights

So, tomorrow who will wear tights?

 

Don't forget to dress up Halloween scary

Be a super hero or some fluffy fairy

"Fall back" may end up making us weary

But if you don't shave, you will get really hairy

 

It's one last night to change the rankings

Which team(s) will get some bad spankings?

Coffee is real good at Dunkin'

With no deodorant, the armpits are stunkin'

 

Team BALUT is still in there hoping

We're not the kind to do any moping

We will fight hard to the very end

Or at least that is what we intend!

 

Next weekend is a bye week, remember

Then our finals, which is the league ender

Cold hard cash to y'all we're awarding

This experience has been SO rewarding!

 

In the new year our annual league's starting

From our hearts bowling's never departing

With luck, a 200 game's not a far thing

But it stinks when you smell someone farting

 

Next year MFL will be returning

In the fall while the leaves start a-turning

Spread the word and make sure you come playing

Make some memories that in our minds are staying

 

All year long come find us at the Palace

Working hard to counter the "malas"

Finding good friends and good times to share

We are hoping that we will see you there!

I will make sure there is a blog during our bye week, please watch out for it.  I still owe Team ADOBO and Team TAPSILOG their songs, plus I am waiting to get inspiration for Team BALUT's matchup on Sunday with Team MONAY.  I will also share some last minute reminders about our finals on November 17.  It is potluck and we are doing the awarding right after the games so we will be starting with our celebration as early as 6 pm.

With this blog comes the return of QUIZ TIME!  You should be able to answer all the questions really easily now.  You can probably look back to the previous quiz questions on the pahabol blogs and wonder why you had such a hard time answering them before.  But of course by the time we get the hang of all the teams in our dear MFL league, it is already time to say good bye.  Such sweet sorrow!  Time flew so quickly!  It will be a new set of teams again next year.  Hmm, who will be coming back next year?  Who will end up together again in the same team?
